The effective Christian’s prayer ministry

By prayer ministry I do not imply a group of people who form a band and have special meetings in which they gather to pray together, that is ok, but in this short article, my focus is on our individual approach to prayer as every Christian’s ministry.
Many Christians, who have not been properly taught, continue [...]

Going into all the world: Expanding opportunities for the everyday Christian to get involved

Our world is fast changing, the phenomenon of globalization, as well as, advancement in information technology is increasingly modifying the way we view the international world into a global village scope indeed. But I’m afraid this idea is still appearing to be merely a cliché to the church of God. In my opinion, most of the church is yet to wake up to the doors of ministry this presents to us…
… In this article particularly, I’m more interested in pointing at some opportunities for participation of individual everyday Christians who have access to the internet, in this end-time harvest of souls and in different forms of ministry, especially using the internet as a tool. There are over 1 billion people who use the Internet for one purpose or the other ranging from email, other business purposes, education and social functions.

Training and exercise

25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.

Search-me-O-God-sincere

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
- Psalm 139:23-24(KJV)
How many times in conversation, have you heard or used the words “search me” or “you know me” or “see my heart” [...]

Being Christian fulltime

I had come to a point of a restless nagging confusion, about my Christian experience, sometime ago . it wasn’t like I was living in any secret or un-confessed sin, yet a grueling sense of guilt tormented my body and mind, terrible as pangs from a body riddled with bullet wounds. I prayed more, read [...]

Poetry: The story of a saviour’s love

When we were swallowed in sin and swollen in pride
A saviour loved us;
When the gulf between us and him grew ever so wide
His heart reached out to us.
When for the remission of our sins He bore the cross
He fully proved His love to us
Yet when we regarded this great sacrifice like it were mere dross
He [...]

Poetry: Be not far from me

Self is frail; alone, the way is grim
I need someone who can always support me
Journeying thru this world a pilgrim
No help like Jesus can ever be.
.
.
Fallible is human might and manly power
in the never failing rock I hide,
If friends betray me and trust turns sour
O my ever faithful God! His love will yet abide
