Jesus Corper… answers the call to serve God and Country in Goronyo, Sokoto State

Hello to all my readers. Well if you’ve observed in the past one month, particularly this month of march, the blog has been devoid of posts, I’m sorry I couldn’t announce that this was going to be inevitable before time.

I’m currently undergoing NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) program. I was posted to Sokoto State, In Nothern Nigeria, the islamic capital of the country and of some other African States. Between March 3-24th I was at the orientation camp in the state capital, an experience of which I would certainly blog about much later – hopefully next week. My place of Primary Assignment is Ahmadu Adamu Mu’Azu Model Science Secondary School (A.A.M.M.S.S.S.), Goronyo, Goronyo Local Government Area, Sokoto State. More on that later.

I also intend to chronicle my service year as much as I can on this blog, so watch out for the Jesus Corper diary.

NYSC offers many opportunities to serve the Lord for the spiritually discerning, as some people have said, it is rather, Nigerian Youths Serving Christ. I promise to keep you posted.
