Unfortunately, I’ve had the challenge of having to manage several things at a time and I’ve just been pressed for time. My blogs generally (not just the Being Christian blog) have suffered different levels of abandonment and I really wish it wasn’t so.

Anyway, I really want to assure my readers that I haven’t ditched the Being Christian blog, and as I’m able to, I would from time to time still make posts.

I have also noticed that some visitors to the blog actually have some other language, other than English, in which they are more comfortable reading in. To cater for this category of readers, I have added a google translator plug-in to the right column.

    • ]]>     Happy new month! this month makes it about a year and half since I started this blog. Phew!

    Thank God for his sustenance through the first half of the year. God has been quite good to me on every side. Looking back at most of the goals I set for myself this year. I can tell He is definitely seeing me through.

    Anyway, I’ve been thinking there is quite a number of things I can do to add some freshness to the blog, actually I think I’ve been having a conflict with two parallel streams, that I’ld rather isolate or seperate. In essence the Everyday Christian blog may soon become two blogs. Just keep your fingers crossed on that.

    Nonetheless, watch out for some really useful posts on the blog this july.

That’s unfortunate and I wasn’t happy about it either, but the circumstances where beyond my control.

    I’ve had to change my hosting company, that involved transferring my files, database, emails and domain name altogether, a tasking and nerve-stretching ordeal [I never knew how much I was in love with my blog, until I imagined loosing it] coming at a point when I was choked up with my Job and strenuous client demands. I believe God helped me, everything was accomplished, with a downtime of not more than a day or two, thanks also to the outstanding customer support of Alireta Nigeria LTD. I didn’t have to lose any files, configuration or take any desperate actions, and the Everyday Christian Blog is back and better on http://blog.tee-akindele.com. Apparently, I decided not to give up on indigenous hosting companies. :D

    What else is news? well I have been trying to do more study on the subject of Leadership, I mean from the bible point of view. I think I may have some interesting thoughts I’d love to share soon. You’d just have to keep your fingers crossed for a short while on that one.

    For now, I’d just say: keep up a lifestyle and permanent attitude of thanksgiving, and you’d see God’s faithful hand on all that concerns you. Shalom!

I still feel like that Friday morning, first of this year, while we were rejoicing, congratulating and praying for each other about the new year, in an RCCG church back in Sokoto state, was just a few days ago. Well, how time flies. Anyway it’s been a nice year, God has been faithful and present with me everyday, and for that I feel very thankful.

    I’ve enjoyed sharing on the Everyday Christian Blog since I started it over a year ago, though there’s been plenty of lows, those times when I wasn’t available for one unavoidable reason or the other, but I’m happy to continue.

    Well it’s Easter period, hope you read my last post: The incredible Easter story. It blessed me. I’ld like to say this to you, apart from blessing others by sharing with them about Christ’s dying for sinners this season, try and take time to reminisce about what Christ by this has done for you personally and let it be a blessing, first to you in particular. Have a blessed Easter weekend and a great month. Stay tuned. I’ll keep you posted from here.
