His instruments to bring God glory.
Seeking, praying, blessing and supporting
Pursuing at being no more than a servant
Loving, touching, healing and forgiving,
For no vain glory or selfish interest.
Being a citizen, neighbor, worker or lover
Bringing Christ to his every station.
An encourager, healer and peacemaker;
Being a Christian is his primary occupation.
If he falls, it’s only so he’ll rise again.
He is what he is by the grace of God.
He has no past to defend and nothing to feign -
He’s what God says he is, he’s a man of God.

Changes!!!
Well you probably noticed already, The Everyday Christian blog has been split into two individual blogs like I told you to anticipate. Now I have the Being Christian blog which is actually no different from the original Everyday Christian blog, save for the name change, and which inherits this subdomain. The other new weblog is Everyday Poetry (on http://poetry.tee-akindele.com)
Redefining scope for evangelistic missions
It is now imperative that we the Church, take certain factors into consideration as we seek a more efficient contextualization of our scope for the mandate to be witnesses “… in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth“. When we address “going into all the world” it’s no longer just about distances or geography. The idea of community is changing, so is the face of our world and so is the phenomenon by which the gospel mission is advancing. Cultural influences, world economy, immigration, other social factors and of course technology, is making and bridging gaps remarkably, and redefining our appraisal of demography and geography. A Global-Scope for Christians
I remember reading an article as a teenager years ago, 
from an old magazine (actually published by Billy Graham in the ’80s) I found at home then. I don’t quite remember most of the content but I remember the title was something about: “Becoming a world Christian”. I have a suspicion that something was imparted in my heart from its message back then, that was going to inspire my interests in World Missions and International Christian work years later.

Poetry: Riding the storm
I would never have taken that first step
When he called: “I am the Lord, come out to me”
But then my little boat was against the storm no help
It would eventually have given me up to the depths of the sea.
And so like a man with neither hope nor anything else to loose
“I’m just a poor sinner” was all I could think.
How could I this grand offer then refuse?
I stepped into the water, hardly expecting not to sink.

July 2010!
Happy new month! this month makes it about a year and half since I started this blog. Phew!
Thank God for his sustenance through the first half of the year. God has been quite good to me on every side. Looking back at most of the goals I set for myself this year. I can tell He is definitely seeing me through.
Anyway, I’ve been thinking there is quite a number of things I can do to add some freshness to the blog, actually I think I’ve been having a conflict with two parallel streams, that I’ld rather isolate or seperate. In essence the Everyday Christian blog may soon become two blogs. Just keep your fingers crossed on that.
Nonetheless, watch out for some really useful posts on the blog this july.

The call to prayer is an earnest call upon every true believer. You can commit to pray each day for atleast one of the least reached people groups in the world using the information provided (in the box to the right side) by the Joshua Project with unreached people groups rotated daily. God bless you as you join in.
How To Pray
Pray that God will open up avenues for the preaching of the gospel to this people group. Col 4:3
pray that every obstacle hindering this people group from accessing the gospel will be removed. 2Cor 4:3,4; 1 Cor 16:9
Pray for missionaries sent and to be sent to this people that God will strenghten and uphold them in face of challenges and give to them increasing oppurtunities for more effective work. Eph 6:19,20; 2Thes 3:1-3; Acts4:29
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mt 24:14 (KJV)
